Internal Recruitment Process
Open positions will be shared during the Company All Hands meeting
Interested employees should take the following steps:
If you are curious to hear more about the role, book the hiring manager for a quick, informal coffee chat
Speak with your manager about your intention to apply
Reach out to the recruiter responsible for the position
Prepare an updated resume which captures all of your skills and experience
The Talent Acquisition Associate will screen all internal resumes that are submitted
You will go through a similar process to external applicant (screening call, take home assignment, etc.) to ensure you have proper clarity on the expectations for the role, and are the best fit
The Talent Acquisition Associate will connect with your current manager to request feedback on your job performance and contributions to your team
If you are chosen as the successful candidate, congratulations! The Talent Acquisition Associate will notify you if you have been selected for the role and discuss next steps for updating your employment terms
Your current manager and hiring manager will work together to coordinate a smooth transition from your previous role to your new role. This usually means you’ll spend a month or two doing a mix of tasks from each role until your previous role can be backfilled, or job duties can be redistributed among your other team members.
If you are not chosen as the successful candidate, the hiring manager and Talent Acquisition Associate will meet with you to discuss the reasons behind the decision and will provide you and your manager with guidance on what skills to build and what experience to gain to better prepare you for the role should it, or a similar position, become available again.
** We encourage you to keep in mind that if you are not the successful candidate, that is more of a “not yet”, rather than a “no”. Please continue to work with your manager to develop your skills and discuss your career goals**
