Use of Company-issued Technology and Tools

We at OneLocal want to make sure you have the needed technology and tools to do your job well (i.e. we know giving you a 2010 PC may not cut it anymore!).

This includes laptops (as close to the current model we can get you, at our discretion!), laptop accessories, monitors, internet access (at the Office), an email account or accounts, and team collaboration and communication tools/accounts (e.g. Slack, Dialpad, Asana, etc.).

These are considered company property, and employees are expected to use them in a professional, ethical, and lawful manner.

#OneTip: please do not place any stickers or other personal identifiers on your laptops, monitors, or other accessories as it is difficult to remove (you know, when we need to give you an upgrade :) )

Please keep OneLocal’s best interests in mind when using company-issued technology, as this is in your best interest as well!  This includes not downloading and/or using software and applications other than those required in the course of your regular job.  If you’re unsure, ask your manager!

Personal Use of Company-Issued Technology and Devices

Personal use of company hardware is allowed as long as it does not interfere with your ability to complete your work or compromise the security of the OneLocal operations. In the event of investigation for misconduct, all electronic communications, including social media, may be audited. (As of October 2022).
