Voting at Elections

During the occasions when an election is being held, all employees who are qualified as electors are entitled to have enough time to vote.

Within the times that election locations are open, you are entitled to three consecutive hours free from work, so as long as your day ends at 5pm, for example, and the polls are open until 8pm, that is considered enough time free from work to go and vote.

As we are a flexible work environment, if you feel you need to adjust your normal work hours to cast your ballot, please let your Manager know before the election so you can make arrangements.
